the ocean

i am an ocean

black waves

crashing

purpling veins between

white frothing lips

captains swim inside

my mouth, tasting me

they call me soft

like silk,

lost heavens

sinking

in the dark

my stomach presses against the

black mountain

skyline

kiss my belly button,

my

sunken hips, rolling

sunken ships

i quench the

earth

of its

sallow thirst,

i am

airy

steadfast, and

free.
